He took advantage of every scrap of cover, and on the appearance of Sergeant Phillipsoon ordered him to surrender as he was surrounded. The Sergeant, however, the capture of Tite who appeared this morning before Magistrate Carss, and was fined $5 and costs for having been drunk. He was allowed thirty days in which to pay, and promised to earn the money promptly and go up river.
