Spirit of St. ratrick Much in Evidence at Affair Staged By United Church Aid The spirit of Old Ireland was much in evidence yesterday afternoon at the St Patrick's tea held by the Ladles' Aid of First United Church at the home of Mrs. T. W. Silvcrsides, 726 Fifth Avenue West. The rooms were daintily decorated in green and yellow and the little shamrock was to be seen in all its glory. There was also a -distinctly Irish touch to the afternoon's musical program. Weather was auspicious and the affair was a complete success. The hostess was assisted in receiving by Mrs. J. J. Payne, president of the Ladles' Aid. Mrs. Helen Macfie and Mrs. R. II. Bedford! poured and Mrs. H. Clavring and Mrs. George Cicconne were in charge of the tea tables. Serviteurs were Mrs. W. B. Cornish. Mrs. Owens. Mrs. W. T. Kergln, Miss Dorothy Styles and Mrs. F. V. Vickers. Mrs. O. y. Wilkinson acted as cashier. The home cooking table was in charge of Mrs. D. Santerbane arid Mrs. Thomas. The afternoon's musical program included piano solos by Mrs. E. J. Smith, Mrs. O. C. Arseneau and Miss Ruby Krlkevsky, Irish readings by Miss E. M. Earl, vocal solos by Mrs. II. N.
